Pirates of the Caribbean
So my brother in law Carlos was turning the big 30 so what better way to celebrate his birthday then with a Surprise Pirate Party Bash….. So again I wondered what I could do to make this birthday amazing…. I mean he’s never celebrated his birthday party at least not on this scale so I thought it would be fun to do it up.
Decorations
The good thing about Carlos’s Birthday was after Halloween so everything skeleton like was on sale so of course I had to take the opportunity to find everything I could. I also bought some of this fish net like material from www.partycity.com on sale of course. If you sign up for their emails you get really great coupons and a heads up when deals are coming up too. I bought it a while back didn’t know why but good thing I did.
Center Pieces
So I bought these boxes at www.partycity.com because they were too cute. I also went on www.ebay.com to buy mardi gras beads silver and gold so they would look like jewels. I had some gold coins left over from the party favors and threw those into the mix. I used the second box to house the napkins and utensils...
Jumper
Again no party is complete without this amazing jumper. Curtesy of http://www.partyonrental.com/home.php The reason I love this jumper is that its so interactive that keeps the kids outside jumping instead of inside.
Cupcake Time!
Of course no birthday is complete without cake and cupcakes...I like to do both because older folks like the cake while the cupcakes are inexpensive to make and children love them. They also waste less eating the cupcake then they do with the cake. Cupcakes were around $13 bucks at Sam's Club which was a huge bargain.
